Alice Collins
Dance Instructor

Alice Collins is originally from Saskatoon, SK and has been involved in urban street style dance for the past ten years.  Her love for hip hop dance began in her neighbourhood - dancing and learning with her friends and family.  It started to formalize a few years later with the creation of Def Sol Dance Crew where she was a member and choreographer for six years.  During that time Alice trained in various styles of street dance with Def Sol.  Her training took her all over Canada and to Los Angeles where she learned from some of the best - Jae Blaze, Jojo Diggs, Rhapsody, Sean Evaristo, Suga Pop, George Anzaldo (Supreme Soul), Lenny Len, Shane Sparks, Lock n Key and Maryss from Paris (Beat Freaks),  Deuce, Leslie Scott, Jafar and Poe One to name a few.  Alice is a seasoned performer and, with Def Sol, has opened for Nas, Joe Budden, the Jabbawockeez, and America’s Best Dance Crew Tour.  In addition she has performed and competed at local events and festivals.

Alice currently teaches Hip Hop, part time at Dance Extreme in London, Ontario. Alice’s day job is spent helping to end modern day slavery. She works for International Justice Mission Canada.
