* July 27, 2007: The play was performed by FridgeDoorLive! Theatre Camp, London, Ontario. The Joseph Remix Karaoke was used as a final performance with this production which involved singing and dance. The original production involved Grade 6-8 youth.

* July 25, 2008: The play was performed by FridgeDoorLive! Theatre Camp, London, Ontario. The Joseph Remix Karaoke was used as a final performance with this production which involved singing and dance. This rewritten production involved Grade 7-10 youth.

* January 23, 2009: The play was performed by the Grade 8 class of First Baptist Christian School, Stuart, Florida.

* May 14, 2010: The play was performed by The Homeschool Gathering, Indianapolis, IN.

* Feb 2010: The script is marketed by YouthPlays.com

* The script has been purchased for possible performance by additional organizations (August 2008; March 2009)

STORY OF THE PLAY

A youth theatre cast are preparing to stage the musical, Joseph, for a drama contest. Ironically, some of the cast members become jealous of the lead character who appears to be favored by the director. When they devise a plan to oust him, the production gets derailed and their chance to compete in the contest is jeopardized.

The play focuses on the tragedy of jealousy and emphasizes the value of working together and the power of individuality. It contains no direct spiritual references.

The script is written for 18. Directions are given to perform it with 13 or more. Script can be performed by Jr. or Sr. High School Youth.
