Len Cuthbert Len is the founding director of Fridge Door Live Theatre Company. His plays have been produced in Canada, US and Europe. He is the writer and producer of Lawrence Station: The Crash of American Airlines Flagship Erie (2023) and Snapshots: Short plays about WW2 & the RCAF Station Fingal (2024). His collection of short plays about reunions, Reunited Shorts, was published by Dramatic Publishing in 2020. | SYNOPSIS |
Red Comet is a coming-of-age comedy-drama about logic, emotion, and the friendships that shape us. As a brilliant, analytical senior rebuilds a rusted 1971 Mercury Comet, his creative best friend fears being left behind. With graduation approaching and the future uncertain, their bond is tested by jealousy, miscommunication, and unspoken feeling, forcing them to confront what truly matters before time runs out. |

The final scene of Red Comet, was staged at the AlvegoRoot Theatre's 10-Minute Play Festival, London, ON, February 27 - Marc 1, 2026. Scene 3 of Red Comet was workshopped at the Grand Theatre's Cascade Playwright's Lab, London, ON, that resulted in a staged reading, April 27, 2026. |
