Len Cuthbert (PLAYWRIGHT, DIRECTOR)

Len is the creator and director of the Not-for-profit organization, Fridge Door Live Theatre Company. His plays have won productions in festivals in Canada, US and the UK. Short of 30 is developed from his short play, Posthumous Friends, that received a reading at the Geneva Theatre Guild, Geneva, NY in April 2017, was produced at the InspiraTO Festival in June 2017, was used during the InspiraTO's Director's Toolbox Program January 2018, produced by Creative Circuit Studios, San Antonio, TX in March 2018, staged by the Advanced Directing class at the University of Alabama, April 30-May 1, 2018 and will be part of a Barrington Collective's Reading Series, Manhattan, NYC in July 2018. His short play, You, Me. Me, You. will be onstage in the UK, July 1, 2018. Len will be producing and directing his new play, Finding Fox at The Arts Project, October 16-20, 2018.

Fynn Cuthbert (COMPOSER, MUSIC DIRECTOR, BAND LEADER)

Having finished his second year as a student in the Music Theatre Performance program at St. Clair College, Fynn has been involved in music and theatre his whole life; as an actor playing Prez in "The Pajama Game" (The Chrysler Theatre), Mal in "The Addams Family" (The Grand Theatre) and Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors" (SDCI); as a composer for Fridge Door Live Theatre Company's Grace Mission (2017); as a singer with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra and the Christmas shows of St Clair. Fynn is thrilled to once again be a part of the creation process in a show and would like to thank his family for always supporting him in all he does.

Haley Kriz (S.)

This is Haley’s second show with Fridge Door Live. The first was last year's, Grace Mission: A New Musical. She is excited about being in another original show. Haley just finished her second year at St. Clair College Windsor, studying Music Theatre Performance and staring as Peter in their production of Peter and the Star Catcher. You may have seen her in shows with Musical Theatre Productions (MTP) or Iglesias Productions in London Ontario. She also spent the last three summers working for Drayton Entertainment at the Huron Country Playhouse, Grand Bend, in Wardrobe. Thank you to friends and family who have been so supportive! Sarah From (M.)

Short of 30 will be Sarah’s fifth show with Fridge Door Live and she couldn’t be more excited. In the past Sarah has appeared in delilah. (2012), Anne Frank & Me (2015), All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten (2016), and Grace Mission: A New Musical in 2017. Sarah has also participated in many school performances during her years in elementary and high school. Currently Sarah is enrolled at Western University and has just completed her second year of study. She would like to thank Fridge Door Live for another amazing opportunity.

Eden Reshef (A.)

Eden is 14 years old and is graduating L.B. Pearson School for the Arts. She loves to act, sing, dance, and travel. This is her 20th big production to date and her second show with Fridge Door Live Theatre. She has had the privilege to play Anne Frank in Diary of Anne Frank, King Lear in Shakespeare’s King Lear, Adele in Jane Eyre, and Sophie in Canada’s premier of School Of Rock. Eden is honoured to be part of Short of 30 and feels that the characters in this musical are all extraordinary people we can learn from. She would like to thank her director Len Cuthbert for inviting her to play this role.

Alexandrea Kennedy (L.)

Alexandrea Kennedy is returning to Fridge Door Live Theatre Company after her appearance in Grace Mission last spring. Alexandrea's theatre roots lie at Saunders Secondary School, where she was in many musicals and plays with their Musical Theatre and safe schools theatre programs. Alexandrea is also planning to continue her theatre career in post secondary in the Fall.

Jordan Classen (P.)

Jordan Classen is thrilled to be making his Fridge Door Live Theatre Company debut in Short of 30. Since recognizing his love for the stage at 4 years old, Jordan has performed in numerous productions every year. Recent highlights include appearing in Drayton Entertainment's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Huron Country Playhouse), and London Community Player's Anne of Green Gables (The Palace Theatre), as well as singing live on Sounds of the Season (CBC Radio) with his Grade 8 chamber choir Twelve, and attending Queen’s Company at Shakespeare School (The Stratford Festival), and Drayton Entertainment's Youth Musical Theatre Program (Huron Country Playhouse). Previously some of Jordan's favourite roles (selected) include Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (L.B. Pearson School for the Arts), Captain Hook in Peter Pan Jr. (Original Kids Theatre Company), Link in Press Start! with Stagecraft: The Video Game (OKTC), and Seussical’s Horton in Kids on Broadway (OKTC). Currently, Jordan is also preparing to play two more lead roles: King Lear in Shakespeare’s classic tragedy King Lear, and Beast in Disney's captivating musical, Beauty and the Beast (L.B. Pearson School for the Arts).

Outside of theatre, Jordan pursues his love of singing with Pearson Singers, his school’s auditioned choir. He also enjoys vocal training with Jennie Such at Western University, and dance training at North London Dance Centre. Jordan would like to thank Len and Fynn for welcoming him to Fridge Door Live, as well as his family for their encouragement and support for his dream of performing.

Jaiden French (N.)

Currently a grade 12 student at AB Lucas Secondary School where she participates in both, drama and vocal, Jaiden is excited to be in her first major production with Fridge Door Live Theatre Company! Jaiden has performed in many school shows in the past including Lucas' 2015 production of Macbeth. Along with taking singing lessons outside of school, Jaiden loves to synchronize skate with her team at the Ilderton Skating Club. She has competed at many skating competitions at the regional and national level. Jaiden would like to thank her family and friends for their continuing support with a special shoutout to the PGM!

David Macdonald (J.)

David is thrilled to be involved with the new stage musical Short of 30. He has been involved with Fridge Door Live Theatre Company for several years and has been a part of Anne Frank & Me, All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten, and Grace Mission. David has had a passion for theatre for many years and has been a part of Saunders Musical Theatre for the last 4 years. He acted in The Wizard of Oz and Grease at Saunders Secondary School as well as several travelling shows through the Thames Valley District School Board. David is very excited for another opportunity to work with Fridge Door Live. He hopes to continue his theatrical studies at post secondary school this September.
David Macdonald

Luke Roussy (BAND: Trombone)

Luke Roussy is currently a student at Western University in his second year as a Bachelor of Music majoring in Bass Trombone Performance. Aside from his studies, Luke performs with many ensembles at the University, including the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and the Brassthetics Brass Quintet. Luke also works for the University, teaching trombone in the New Horizons Adult Band program, and acts as an instructor in Western’s Summer Band Camp and Intermediate Honour Band programs. Outside of the University, He performs frequently with the London Community Orchestra and has played with the Original Kids Theatre Company. Luke is excited to work with Fridge Door Live Theatre Company for the first time to premiere Short of 30.

Griffin Goble (BAND: Drum Set)

After seeing previous Fridge Door Live Theatre Company shows including Anne Frank & Me and Grace Mission, Griffin is thrilled to be a part of Short of 30. He is finishing his second year in the Bachelor of Church Music at Heritage College & Seminary in Cambridge, and has been playing drums for approximately 9 years. Over these years he has played on the worship team at Bethel Baptist Church in Strathroy, as well as on the chapel and travel teams at Heritage. He was also part of the band for Bethel Baptist’s Christmas dinner theatre show Earl’s Diner in 2015. Griffin would like to thank Fridge Door Live and especially Fynn Cuthbert for inviting him to be a part of this year’s show.

Ethan Thompson (TECH DIRECTOR)

Short of 30 is Ethan’s fourth time returning to work with Fridge Door Live Theatre Company and he is thrilled to work with the talent from the whole team once again. Having worked on many shows in the past, including Les Miserables at The Grand Theatre, Little Shop of Horrors at SDCI, and Fridge Door Live’s Anne Frank & Me, All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten, and last years Grace Mission, he is looking forward to being part of yet another show. Ethan is currently enrolled at Carleton University where he is studying Computer Science.

Rebecca Cuthbert (STAGE MANAGER)

Rebecca is a board member for Fridge Door Live Theatre Company as Secretary-Treasurer and volunteers with the Saturday Morning program. She was the stage manager for Anne Frank & Me (2015), All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten (2016) and Grace Mission (2017). She works full time as the Operations Manager for International Justice Mission Canada.

Winona Cuthbert (ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER)

Winona has been involved with Fridge Door Live Theatre Company's programs and summer camps before she was technically eligible. She was a stage assistant in last year's Grace Mission as well as All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten (2016) and Anne Frank & Me (2015). Winona is completing Grade 10 at Strathroy District Collegiate Institute.
