Short of 30 was developed from Len Cuthbert's 10-minute play, Posthumous Friends, that received a public reading at the Geneva Theatre Guild, Geneva, NY in April 2017. Selected from over 450 entries, it was one of 24 plays produced at the InspiraTO Festival in Toronto, June 1-10, 2017. Posthumous Friends was used for the InspiraTO's Director's Toolbox Workshop in January 2018. Creative Circuit Studios in San Antonia, TX produced it March 23-24, 2018 and the Advanced Directing Class of the University of Alabama produced it April 30-May 1, 2018.
